Cookie policy

Version 1.2Effective 22 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how CobaltAI OÜ (registry code 17561613, Estonia) uses cookies and similar technologies on cobalt12.com and app.cobalt12.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.

2. Categories We Use

Strictly necessary — required for the site and application to function: authentication and session management, security and fraud prevention, and storing your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.

Analytics — we use PostHog to measure how the site and the application are used: which pages are viewed, which buttons are pressed, which steps of a flow are completed. It sets one first-party identifier, listed in the table below. Where the law requires consent, it is set only after you give it via the banner; elsewhere you can switch it off at any time in "Cookie settings". We do not record your screen, and analytics data is not used for advertising.

Marketing — two things, both under the "Marketing" switch in the banner. First, we keep one entry in your browser's local storage, cobalt12_attribution, holding the campaign code or source of your first visit. Second, and only after you have explicitly accepted marketing in the banner (never by default, in any country, and never for a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal), we load the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag so that those platforms can count the sign-ups our own ads led to and show our ads to people who have visited the site. They set the advertising cookies listed in the table below. We do not send them your name, email address or account identifier.

Functional cookies are not currently in use. We do not set cookies to remember optional preferences.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you for sale to third parties.

Short-lived security cookies (for example, sign-in state and CSRF protection) may also be set during authentication and expire promptly.

4. Your Choices

Consent banner. Where non-essential cookies are in use, the banner lets you accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not restrict access to the Service.

Changing your mind. You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent.

Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.

Do Not Track. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We do honour Global Privacy Control signals where legally required.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Cloudflare's security cookie listed above is set by a third party. The analytics identifier is set on our own domain and the measurements are sent to PostHog, which processes them on our behalf. If you accept marketing, the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag set the identifiers listed above on our domain and send page views and three events (demo started, account created, purchase with its amount) to Meta and Google, which may also read their own cookies on their domains (facebook.com, google.com, doubleclick.net). All three providers are listed on our Sub-processors page. If support tools are introduced, their providers and cookies will be added before activation.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected in the consent banner so you can review your choices.
